1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy describes how BuiBui Labs ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use googlyai (the "Service") at https://googlyai.app and related apps or pages we operate.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address
• Name
• Password (stored in hashed / encrypted form — we do not store plaintext passwords)
• Account type (for example player or coach) and related organization / invite associations

2.2 Usage and technical information

We automatically collect limited technical data needed to run and secure the Service, which may include:

• IP address and approximate location derived from network requests
• Device and browser information
• Request logs, analysis job status, and error diagnostics
• Cookie and session identifiers used to keep you signed in
• On hosted environments (dev.googlyai.app and googlyai.app), product-analytics events such as page views, clicks, and unhandled errors — not collected on local development

2.3 Video and analysis content

When you upload clips for analysis, we process and may store:

• Uploaded video files and derived playback files
• Setup choices (such as outline, facing, and player selection)
• Pose landmarks, technique metrics, overlays, and related analysis outputs
• Titles, discipline tags, and library metadata you provide

Uploaded videos and related analysis outputs may be used by us to test, evaluate, and develop new features and improvements to the Service, as well as to provide your analysis history.

Biometric Data Disclaimer: The Service extracts kinematic pose landmarks strictly for the purpose of analyzing athletic movement and biomechanics. We do not use computer vision, facial recognition, or pose estimation to extract biometric identifiers, nor do we use this data to uniquely identify, verify, or authenticate any individual.

2.4 Coach, academy, and invite information

If you use coach or academy features, we may process invite codes, invitation emails, organization membership, and which coaches or orgs can view analyses shared with them.

2.5 Third-party and hardware data

If and when you connect or import data into the Service from third parties or hardware devices — for example smart bats, wearables, or external video analysis tools (such as swing speed or rotational metrics) — we may collect that imported data. We treat it with the same security and privacy standards as your uploaded video content.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use information to:

• Provide cricket technique analysis, overlays, and your library
• Operate coach / academy tools and player invites
• Generate optional AI coaching text from derived technique metrics (numbers and summaries — not your video files or frames)
• Facilitate optional human coach review programs such as 1on1coach.cricket when those features are available
• Send transactional email (verification, password reset, invites, billing-related notices when paid plans apply)
• Test and improve the Service, including using uploaded videos and analysis outputs where helpful
• Process payments through third-party payment processors when you purchase paid features
• Secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with law

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share information only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers: cloud hosting, storage, email delivery, payment processing, product analytics, and AI text providers that help us operate the Service
• Coaches / organizations you join or invite: analyses and related content shared under those relationships
• Human coach review partners (such as 1on1coach.cricket) when you request or enable that review
• Legal requirements: when required by law or to protect rights and safety
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, as described in Section 4.4

4.1 AI processing

Pose and overlay analysis runs on infrastructure we operate. When AI coaching text is generated, we send derived metrics and structured summaries to third-party AI text services. We do not send your uploaded video files or extracted video frames to those text services. Those providers process content under their terms to return coaching language for the Service.

4.2 Payments

Paid plans and purchases are handled by third-party payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Card and billing details are collected and processed by the payment provider under their privacy terms.

4.3 Product analytics

On hosted deployments we use PostHog to understand how the Service is used (pages, clicks, and unhandled exceptions) and to associate those events with your account after you sign in. This does not run on local development. We do not send uploaded video files or analysis frames to PostHog.

4.4 Change of control or corporate acquisition

If BuiBui Labs or googlyai is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, personal information and related Service data may be transferred to the successor or buyer as part of that transaction. Any successor that receives your information will be required to honor this Privacy Policy with respect to the transferred data, or to provide equivalent protections. We will provide notice of such an event (for example by email or a notice on the Service). After the transfer, you may continue to exercise the access, correction, and deletion rights described in this Policy.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures appropriate to the Service, including encryption in transit, access controls, and hosting on reputable cloud infrastructure (including Cloudflare). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Email Communications

We send emails for account verification, password reset, coach / player invites, important service notices, and (when applicable) billing. You can request to stop non-essential emails; transactional messages required to operate your account may still be sent.

Organization-wide marketing opt-out

Any school, academy, club, or similar entity using the Service may request an entity-wide opt-out from marketing and other non-essential communications. Upon a verified request to hello@googlyai.app, we will permanently remove players, students, and coaches associated with that entity's account from our marketing contact lists. Transactional messages required to operate accounts may still be sent.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, to operate the Service securely, and (on hosted environments only) for product analytics via PostHog. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may prevent login or other features from working.

8. Data Retention

• Account information: retained while your account is active
• Video and analysis content: retained for your history and, as described above, may be used to improve the Service until deleted or purged
• Usage / log data: retained as needed for security and operations; anonymized or aggregated data may be kept longer
• Deleted accounts: we aim to delete or de-identify personal information within 30 days of a verified deletion request, except where we must retain data for legal, security, or dispute reasons

Storage of inactive or unpaid accounts

To manage cloud storage resources (including Cloudflare R2 and related hosting), we reserve the right to permanently delete video files, derived playback files, analysis outputs, and library metadata after twelve (12) months of account inactivity, or — when paid plans apply — after twelve (12) months of non-payment or a lapsed subscription. Where practicable, we will attempt to provide notice before such deletion. Deleted media and analysis outputs are unrecoverable. We may retain limited account, security, or dispute records as required by law or as otherwise described in this Policy.

9. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request to:

• Access a copy of personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and associated personal data
• Export data in a common format where feasible
• Opt out of non-essential emails

Data managed on behalf of an organization

If your video or analysis content was uploaded or is managed through a coach, school, or cricket academy account on the Service, that organization is responsible for consent and for handling requests to access, correct, or delete content it controls. Please direct those requests to the organization first. We act as a service provider / processor for that organization with respect to such content and will assist them in fulfilling verified requests in accordance with their instructions and applicable law. If you have your own individual account and uploaded content yourself, you may contact us at hello@googlyai.app to exercise the rights listed above for that account data.

10. Children and Junior Players

The Service may be used by players of all ages, including juniors, typically through a parent, guardian, or coach account. Coaches and academies who upload or share footage of junior players must have appropriate parental or guardian consent (and any other consent required by law or their organization) before uploading. By creating a coach or academy account and agreeing to our Terms of Service, you accept that obligation.

If you believe we have collected information about a child without required consent, contact us and we will take appropriate steps, including deletion where required.

If a coach or academy has uploaded footage of a junior player, parents or legal guardians retain the right to review, request deletion of, and refuse further collection of their child's personal information. Parents may contact us at hello@googlyai.app to exercise these rights, providing sufficient detail to identify the specific content. We act as a service provider to coaches and academies in processing this data.

11. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you specific rights regarding your personal information. We do not "sell" or "share" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by California law. You have the right to request access to the specific pieces of personal information we have collected, request deletion, and request correction of inaccurate data. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@googlyai.app. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

12. International Users

The Service is operated by BuiBui Labs from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate, which may have different privacy laws than your home country.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.

14. Notice to Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom

If you are in the EEA or the United Kingdom, BuiBui Labs processes personal data as needed to perform our contract with you (to provide the Service), based on our legitimate interests (such as securing and improving the Service and limited product analytics on hosted environments), and — where required — based on your consent (for example for marketing communications).

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

• Access and portability: request access to your personal data and, where feasible, receive it in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format
• Rectification and erasure: correct inaccurate data or request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention needs
• Restriction and objection: restrict or object to certain processing of your data
• Withdraw consent: withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time (without affecting prior processing)

To exercise these rights, contact hello@googlyai.app. If your data is managed by a coach or academy, submit requests about that organization's content to them directly as described in Section 9; we will assist them as their service provider / processor. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
